Martin has helped comfort grieving parents, listen to a widower talk of a nursing home’s negligence, and successfully won cases other lawyers refused to even take.
His proven track record includes several cases in excess of $1 million, including a $5 million verdict against a hospital and one of its residents; a $4.6 million verdict against a Chicago hospital; and most recently, obtaining a $4.5 million recovery for a young woman whose adrenal cancer was misdiagnosed and untreated for 3 ½ years.
Martin recognizes that he comes into people’s lives during very challenging times and he is diligent about addressing his clients’ concerns in a efficient and compassionate manner.
His commitment to making a difference in people’s lives extends beyond his day job. He is active in the legal and medical communities, serving on boards and committees for organizations aimed at helping others. He also has served two terms on the Arlington Heights Plan Commission and is a volunteer for the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services helping families in foreclosure to keep their homes.
